| On April 14, 2026, email sending via SMTP/STARTTLS (port 587) will be disabled. Please therefore switch all email clients to the currently recommended and secure SSL/TLS protocol by that date. Use the following settings: Server name: mail.desy.de Port: 465 Encryption: SSL/TLS Authentication is carried out using a Zimbra application code (see documentation, below). As username, you can indicate the email address or the DESY username.
